Abstract :
Research on treatment for desulphurization wastewater by nano-titanium dioxide is conducted and based on nano-titanium dioxide characteristics of adsorption and photo-catalysis, some affecting factors on the removal efficiency were also studied, such as different dosage, mixing time, pH value of the solution and light time. The catalysis mechanisms of nano-titanium oxide on fluoride and sulfide removal efficiency were discussed. The results show that a removal efficiency of fluoride to 89.5%, and that of sulfide to 75.2%. The results may be used to provide a useful basis for further applying nano-TiO2 to desulphurization wastewater purification in the near future.
