Abstract :
A quasi-static model for a coplanar waveguide (CPW) including conductor loss has been developed. Comparison between experimental measurements on low-loss dielectric substrates and model calculations shows excellent agreement. To model the conductor loss, the CPW is conformally mapped into a parallel plate configuration, where current crowding and conductor loss are accounted for by using scaled conductance.<>
