Abstract
The paper proposes a novel scheme, admission control for Ethernet services (ACES), a centralized system that works with the Ethernet provisioning server and is used in conjunction with the multiple spanning trees protocol to control Ethernet virtual connection admission into the service provider network and to determine the most efficient path selection through the network.
