  • Abstract
    The interest in planar technology began a long time ago, but it was mainly developed in the last few years, both with concentrated and distributed parameters. Planar EMI filters are among the planar devices developed with this technology. In order to increase their efficiency, one must know that the HF losses must be increased and the parasitic capacitances between adjacent windings must be decreased. This paper is a continuation of a study conducted on a simple planar structure. This time the improvement methods determined and verified were applied on the complex structure of an EMI filter.
