Abstract :
This paper presents a numerical simulation model designed to predict and analyze the electromagnetic shielding performance in high frequency. The simulation model is based on the measuring device described in D4935-10 standard. The basis of the method is the placement of a sample between two holders, passing a signal through the sample and measuring the outcome. The simulation model is implemented in the commercial software COMSOL. Numerical tests have been performed on dimensional (2D) models with axial symmetry. The results of the simulations are briefly presented for a copper probe within a frequency range between 30 MHz and 3 GHz.
