Abstract :
This paper presents the basic concepts of the robust control design, applied on electro-hydraulic advance system of the Electro-Discharge Processing Machine (EDPM). The input-state-output (ISO) mathematical model of the EDPM is used to develop a robust controller, by H-infinite (H∞) synthesis techniques, which guarantee stability and performance. Using Matlab software facilities, have been simulated the frequency characteristics of sensitivities function and the linear displacement of the mobile electrode, in close-loop connection with the designed controller.
