  • Abstract
    This paper presents the basic concepts of the robust control design, applied on electro-hydraulic advance system of the Electro-Discharge Processing Machine (EDPM). The input-state-output (ISO) mathematical model of the EDPM is used to develop a robust controller, by H-infinite (H) synthesis techniques, which guarantee stability and performance. Using Matlab software facilities, have been simulated the frequency characteristics of sensitivities function and the linear displacement of the mobile electrode, in close-loop connection with the designed controller.
