Abstract
The current paper presents the total irradiance within a receiving surface produced by a non-lambertian intensity LED assembly. The 3D irradiance model is aiming to provide the lighting system design with control tools such as LED beam intensity versus wavelength characteristics, LED assembly size and topology, and assembly dimensions. The non-lambertian intensity distribution is compared with the lambertian distribution in order to conclude the benefits of the former model.
