Abstract :
Chatter mark on the surface of the cold rolled or skin passed steel strips will seriously depress the product quality. This paper deeply analysis the mechanism and data relationship of rolling plant, find out the process data information and variables related to chatter mark. Based on the method of PCA, build the relation model of chatter mark and the state of rolling plant, diagnose the main process variables and parameters that lead to chatter marks, and gives recommendations for the guidance of production operations. Off-line tests show that the method can effectively prevent the emergence of flower formation.
