Abstract :
The common development process of hardware driver has been discussed here. The register setup and the hardware connect of SC16C754B has been detailed. The operating system used is μ C/OS-II and the MCU used is LPC2378. The query mode and interrupt mode of data translating has all been detailed. It is a good example of UART hardware development.
