Abstract :
The paper presents the constructive solutions applied for the fabrication of three loop magnetic probes, followed by the affordable calibrating procedures. The performance factors obtained after these processes (edited as .csv format, each one associated with the corresponding calibration graph) were used in association with SPECTRAN NF-5035 capabilities, the selected option (from the main menu) for the sensor being “analog”. The main advantage is that we can identify the emissive points in narrow environments, where it is impossible to place the already integrated, included sensors of the analyzer. Due to the usage of an exterior directional loop probe, it is more intuitive to establish the location of the emissive points. There are demonstrated some advantages of using cheap, self-performed probes, enhanced by means of all the processing facilities offered by a handheld, cunning low frequency spectrum analyzer and its associated software.
