  • Abstract
    Path Recognition and tracking technology is an important symbol of the development of the intelligent car, this paper introduces a kind of path Recognition system for mobile robot based on a single chip of Free scale, version is HCS12, the system uses CMOS camera sensor as the detector, using the edge detection algorithm to extract the current path information from the captured images, using PID algorithm to adjust the steering angle of steering and control the speed of the motor, quickly and dynamically, to ensure that the car fast and stable operation, to achieve an arbitrary path Recognition and tracking. Experiments prove that this method is simple and reliable, has a good forward - looking, can meet the demand of intelligent vehicle path identification.
