Abstract :
In the era of Internet-based services, companies increasingly use Web technologies to interact. Due to the inherent heterogeneity both at data and process level, ensuring interoperability between Information Systems is difficult. To automate electronic exchanges between businesses, the classical approach is to follow strictly at runtime a common interacting protocol that must be defined beforehand. This imposes a costly design time and a constrained runtime. Our goal is to propose a mediation platform that allows partners to engage directly into business-to-business exchanges. In this paper we present a multi-agent system developed with an institutional extension of the JADE development framework. Agents of the platform dynamically monitor the exchanges by interpreting business interacting actions according to each enterprise´s business logic and behave in order to fulfill the business transaction.
