Abstract :
This paper proposes an AQM controller design procedure for IP routers using the recently developed H optimal control theory. We apply the H loop-shaping technique to solve the S/U Mixed Sensitivity Problem (MSP) in the controller design. Different weight functions and their impacts on the system performance are evaluated and discussed. Extensive OPNET simulations are performed to verify the effectiveness of our designed controller.
