Abstract :
The paper emphasizes the analysis of a steel plant reactive energy and power factor. There is a detailed evaluation of the reactive power consumption, and also the addition of capacitors which alter the power factor. Some feasible solutions to the issue, like the implementation of capacitors bank and industrial implementation are also discussed.
