Image and Text Fusion for Context-aware Recommendation

In this paper, we propose a system that obtains sensor data including multimedia data such as text messages and image data from mobile phones, and extracts information about the user situation from these data to provide situation-oriented web services to users exploiting the extracted context. Based on the situation awareness of the system, it is attained to increase the precision of content-based image matching by combining the partial context obtained there from other types of data such as textual information.
