The Application of Information Technology in Building Energy Efficiency

Information technology is changing every aspect of people´s life with enormous incalculable impact. The purpose of this paper is to research how we can apply information technology to building energy saving. It analyzes the application of information technology in the design, construction and operation phrase in life cycle of the construction and proposes to strengthen the use of information technology in building energy saving work. It is proved that the proper use of information technology can achieve great energy saving. The new of this paper lies in integrating information technology with the main phases of construction.
