Abstract :
Cloud Computing allows users to connect shared pool of resources on demand. Users can connect to cloud for accessing variety of services on demand as per required. The services offered by cloud are storage, application and platform. Database is also an important class of service in cloud computing environment. The development and implementation of these services are in rapid expansion due to users demand. The working of cloud database management system depends on some of the contents like availability of resources, scalability of cloud architecture, etc. This paper describes a new and better approach for cloud database management system. The paper further elaborates the concept of resource orientation of cloud architecture which helps make it easier to understand the working of database architectures and implementation of new approach. The paper also includes mathematical formulation of performance optimization using liner programming method, which can be basic derived model for database systems for scalability and availability.
