China Unicom: Innovative industry application of smart city — Intelligent medical care

In recent years, China has undergone a process of urbanization, during which the Smart City project has realised intelligent city management and coordination for increasingly complex cities. This has been realised using a new generation of information technology. After a four-year preliminary exploratory period, China Unicom built an industry application system, which employs “three concepts”, namely, mobile Internet, the Internet of Things and e-commerce and which also covers “eight fields”, namely government, finance, logistics, aviation, vehicular technology, energy, medical care and public utilities.
