Abstract
The low switching frequency performance of logical random PWM methods is examined under various modulation indexes and sampling frequencies. The optimal operating conditions for each logical random PWM scheme are highlighted. The random PWM schemes provide near ideal harmonic-free voltage waveforms and are suitable for both MOSFET and IGBT inverters
