Abstract :
In this paper we introduce concept of central exponent of linear time varying discrete system. It is shown that this exponent describe the possible changes in the greatest Lyapunov exponent under small parametric perturbations. Finally we present a formula for the central exponent in terms of transition matrix of the system.
