  • Abstract
Video object (VO) is a very important concept in the MPEG-4 standard. Video objects may be purposely cut and pasted for illegal use. A robust watermarking scheme for video object protection is proposed. For each segmented video object, a watermark is embedded by a new technology whose design is based on the concept of communications with side information. To solve the asynchronous problem caused by object placement, we propose to use eigenvectors of a video object for synchronization of rotation and flipping. Preliminary results have demonstrated the robustness of the proposed method
