Study on teaching of CAD based on GIS and 3D modeling

Due to the lack of flexibility and expansibility, traditional education methods of architectural CAD can´t adapt to the university undergraduate teaching. A new teaching idea is proposed, which focuses on dynamic architectural landscape design by using technology of GIS and 3D modeling. Meanwhile, teaching organization, matched with teaching idea is put forward. As result, this reform of teaching not only promote students´ learning interest, but also pave the way for students when they come into the community and face fierce competition in the industry after graduation.
