Abstract
This paper will review some of the problems in controlling electrical motive energy on an industrial machine during operational and maintenance intervention, and present an update on the proposed solutions. The problem and proposed initial solutions were presented in a first paper, "Electrical Safety related isolation on Industrial Machines with Multiple Entry Points" . Originally the paper was presented under the title "Equipment Used for Electrical Safety-related Isolation on Industrial Machines by William E. Anderson, P.E." at the 2003 I&CPS Department Conference in St Louis, MO.; Paper "I&CPS 03-20".
