Through surveying the forms of building national excellent courses in physical education universities, and logging http://www.jingpinke.com and other websites of excellent courses in physical education universities, the author makes an analysis on the current situation of building national excellent courses in the paper. The result shows: the system of national excellent courses has be formed basically, based on a teaching team lead by the teachers with high professional title and high education qualification and cored by middle age teachers; course orientation and course object shows modern physical education idea, and fits society needs; teaching methods and means liven the class and enrich class content; teaching recourses are shared on the internet, providing high-qualification information for teachers and students, and promote teaching reform and plays an active part in improve teaching quality.
