Abstract
Low power design is an important research for consumer electronic equipments. Pulse frequency modulation function is often adopted in the design of power supply circuit. Based on several sub-circuits had been published in open literatures, this paper tries to integrate these function blocks as a dc-dc buck converter. By using TSMC 0.35-um CMOS technology, the buck converter is simulated to successfully drive light-emitter diode (LED) applications. The functionality of the converter is verified by HSPICE simulation. The circuit is expected to be integrated in power regulation circuits of car electronics, tablet PC, and digital camera equipments.
