Abstract
Copyright protection of digital contents become more and more important in accordance with the development of digital technology. As a solution of this problem, digital watermark technology is drawing great attention and various watermarking methods have been presented. However, it is difficult for us to decide which method is better than others, because the measure for evaluating their performance has not been established yet. We propose a method that evaluates the performance of a watermark technique in the frequency domain. Using the proposed method, we analyze and evaluate the DWT-based and DCT-based watermarking methods
