Abstract :
A sensor less vector-control induction motor drive with optimization algorithm speed controller design strategy is presented. First, the rotor field oriented controlled induction motor drive is established, and the rotor-flux estimator is developed to identify synchronous speed for coordinate transformation. Then, the estimated rotor speed is derived applying the model reference adaptive system method based on estimated rotor flux, and the speed controller of sensor less induction motor drive is designed using particle swarm optimization algorithm. Simulation and experimental results confirms the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
