Abstract :
The authors have developed a practical scheme for the direct power control of a generator to linearize the power swing characteristics, which brings a robust power system stabilizing control. This paper describes the effectiveness and robustness of proposed control experimentally confirmed in a 10 kVA model power transmission system with a UPFC.
