Abstract :
Harmonic analysis of LLC Resonant Converter for high power DC-DC conversion is presented in this paper. Performance of LLC resonant tank to filter the harmonic contents from the square wave voltage applied to the switching elements IGBTs is analyzed through simulation. The DC-DC Converter consists of inverter and rectification stage with capacitive filter. The system is operated in closed-loop control with PI controller to maintain constant output voltage against line and load variation. THD is calculated through simulation and converter is practically tested for the harmonics content. The obtained results through simulation and it is practically proved that harmonic contents reduced significantly from the system due to filtering action of the LLC resonant tank.
