Internet Browser Interface Design Suitable for the Elderly to Use

This study is based on the environment of seniors living at home as the research background. According to the interact condition and requirement of seniors with information technology, an appropriate Internet browser interface used by seniors at home is developed. This interface is expected to solve the problem of seniors in the operation cognitive impairment of IT products. Internet browser interface developed by the study can be used as supplementary information platform for healthy living of seniors, and help seniors receive or respond effectively to live information such as weather, shopping, dining, health advice, medical advice exhort, physiological information, home security, love and care and so on. Interface design is based on the concept of the separation operation, and the system will be divided into a display terminal and the control terminal, which are connected through the database channel. Tablet computers, smart phones or large touch computers are configured as a control terminal, and a projector or large screen is matched as a display terminal. Web content processing adapts the channel classification as a basis to help the designer conveniently to organize favorite information content and demand to be individualized for the elderly.
