Abstract :
In, this paper, single phase AC to AC converter using pulse width modulation (PWM) is presented to control the voltage of passive R-L load. The presented AC chopper consist four IGBT switches to control the voltage across the load. The performance characteristics of PWM AC chopper using simulation and hardware are presented in this paper.
