  • Abstract
In this paper, different possible low temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) materials for micro strip patch antenna substrates and their properties like, permittivity, dielectric loss, quality factor (Q-factor), temperature coefficient of the resonant frequency are taken into consideration and Ashby´s approach is applied and based on the performance indices and material indices, material selection chart is plotted. The selection chart shows that Dupont-951 is the best material for substrate application out of all possible candidates.
