Abstract :
A 4times4 fully implemented photonic interconnection network is experimentally demonstrated. The network routes 60 Gb/s wavelength-striped packets (6times10 Gb/s) error-free in the optical domain, resolves contentions, and detects dropped packets via a unique acknowledgement protocol.
