Abstract :
This work presents new 3D modelling schemes for the analysis of magnetic actuators. The modelling takes into account the interactions between the motion of the rigid body, the external circuit coupling and the finite element EM computation. A new technique has been developed to handle both translating and pivoting motion. These new schemes have been validated on an E-shaped magnetic actuator provided by Schneider electric.
