Abstract :
We present a master-slave pulse-coupled network of nonautonomous chaotic integrate-and-fire neurons. The output spike-train of the master is input to the slave. Then the slave exhibits two kinds of firings: one caused by the input spike and the other caused by a threshold effect of the slave. We classify chaotic and periodic synchronization phenomena and clarify outlines of their occurrence mechanisms. Using a simple test circuit, typical phenomena are verified in the laboratory
