Abstract
It is well known that for low complexity digital direct-sequence spread-spectrum receivers in deterministic kinds of interferences an unacceptable loss in signal-to-interference ratio occur. To overcome this, a new interference reduction scheme was presented and analyzed by Goiser (see Proc. IEEE-Milcom´96, 1996) for stationary conditions. This paper focuses on the dynamic of the adaptive interference reduction scheme and presents its suitability for the proposed receiver of Goiser. The paper covers the new synchronization scheme using an opening and closing window-technique to acquire the optimum threshold location. The additional absorbing-function makes these threshold synchronization technique very fast. The mean synchronization time for pulsed combined interference is presented
