Abstract :
In this paper we are describing useful concept for sound detection and analysis using graphical programming language - LabVIEW. This system is very cost effective and easy to scale up for establishment of correlation with crispiness of food products, breaking strength of solid objects with acoustic parameter. When the material is subjected to the force it will generate a sound before it breaks, so by the sound analysis we can find the ultimate stress of the material. Ultimate stress point is the point at which the material is going to break or a stress strain relationship becomes nonlinear. Such kind of study will benefit to find out behavior of the various brittle materials when subjected to ultimate stress.
