Abstract :
A multifunctional nursing bed system based on robot technology is designed. The nursing bed is the main controlled object, which is connected into a CAN bus network together with other intelligent devices in home, such as physiological data detector. A home station is developed, DSP as processor, which can communicate with nursing center by TCP/IP technology. The data can be exchanged between home intelligent devices and nursing center by CAN bus and Ethernet. The system working with a network video server can monitor the home by video in nursing center. The application verifies that a perfect remote home nursing system can be build by the multifunctional bed.
