Abstract :
The paper deals with a novel approach of simulation of nonlinear voltage dependent load characteristics especially applicable in load flow and in electrodynamic stability modeling. The novel method introduces the voltage dependent exponent to characterize nonlinear loads. Furthermore, a method is introduced enabling the separation of a mixed (inductive and capacitive) nonlinear load onto an inductive and capacitive component.
