Abstract :
Several techniques have been developed over the last two decades to simulate power quality problems using a digital computer. Electromagnetic transients programs are among the most popular tools based on a time-domain method. This paper presents a modular library recently developed to facilitate the usage of the ATP package in power quality studies. The library allows users to represent all kind of power quality disturbances, postprocess all type of variables, calculate several power quality indexes, and analyze the performance of traditional and advanced mitigation techniques using some recently implemented capabilities.
