Abstract
This paper presents the design of a 10 MHz, 12 bit data acquisition system. Two novel features are incorporated in the design-programmable channel selection and memory configuration which results in a 25% saving in memory. A software driver package is written and is callable from an application program in BASIC, Pascal, FORTRAN and C. The package includes commands that initialize the board, set the clock, establish A/D and D/A parameters, transfer the memory and execute the A/D and D/A operations
