Abstract :
The problem of the stability analysis of linear active circuits containing periodically switched resistors (R-switched circuits) is considered. The state-space method, the classical theory of linear periodic systems of differential equations, and the Hurwitz stability criterion are used for stability analysis. From the analysis of simple examples of R-switched circuits it follows that linear models of such circuit transfer functions corresponding to the time intervals of constant resistance of switched resistors have poles which are located strictly in the left half-plane of the complex plane. As an example, the stability of the second-order circuit is investigated.<>
