Abstract
A broadband detector for K- and Ka-band based on Schottky diode is designed in hybrid integration technology. Simulation results show that the detector pulse response time is less than 1 nanosecond (ns). The overall VSWR stimulated in schematic circuit of the detector is less than 1.2 in the K- and Ka-band. The paper illustrates that the Schottky diode has the advantage of fast response time.
