Abstract :
So far, process noise and measurement noise for terrain aided navigation (TAN) systems have been considered as white noises. In this paper, 2D position noises for an inertial navigation system and 1D measurement noise are considered as colour noises. The augmented TAN systems are modelled and simulated. It is concluded that the seven-order TAN system is suitable for high accuracy applications
