Abstract :
The dynamic behaviors of flotation are hardly described using accurate mathematical models because of complex mechanisms, strong nonlinearities and uncertainties. The flotation reagent optimal control is difficult to be determined with conventional control method. According to this, combining modeling and control, an intelligent control software for flotation reagent process is researched and developed innovatively so that the concentrate grade and the tailing grade can be controlled within their target ranges. The structure, the functions, the flow chart and the interfaces of the software are introduced detailed. The software updates self-adaptive automatically flotation reagent setting when the boundary conditions changes so as to realize the intelligent optimization control of flotation reagent. Successfully industrial application has shown that the product quality and the production efficiency have been enhanced. Significant application effect has been achieved.
