Abstract :
This paper investigates flexible QoS multicast routing in IP/DWDM optical Internet. Given a multicast request, an algorithm is proposed to find a flexible QoS multicast routing tree based on artificial immune algorithm (AIA), and assigns wavelengths to the tree with the help of the wavelength graph. It integrates routing and wavelength assignment into one single process that supports load balancing as well as flexible QoS. Simulation results show that the AIA based scheme is both feasible and effective.
