  • Abstract
    With the transistors increased dramatically of per unit area in Large Scale Integration (LSI), Network on Chip (NoC) design reliability is increasingly becoming the priority. This paper focuses on the error of packet routing transmission path detection method. According to the characteristics of the error, we proposed three methods of detection and diagnosis online test: detection before routing, detection after routing, and detection in core. We gave out the touting transmission error model, and designed the three methods with flow chat. Then we established a simulation platform using Verilog language in Xilinx ISE and simulated verification for proposed detection methods with Modelsim. The simulation results show that the online detection method proposed in this paper can improve the NoC design reliability.
