Abstract :
This paper presents a VI based measurement and protection system for HTS device applications. The subsequent protection system has also been designed for the safe operation of HTS devices. The whole system has been tested and verified in superconducting magnetic energy storage (SMES) device. The results obtained prove that the VI measurement and protection system is easy to build and convenient to use with high precision control.
