Abstract :
We examine the convergence of FDTD calculations of the input admittance of a simple dipole antenna for two different feed models. These results show that as the size of the cell is reduced, one must be careful to properly position and scale the elements in the feed model (such as the contours along which voltage and current are determined) to obtain convergence for the impedance.
