Abstract
This paper presents a dynamic frequency scaling technique to save the processing power of MPEG-4 video decoder implemented in a portable kitchen TV, which is an ATSC/T-DMB supporting combo platform. The operating frequency of CPU is dynamically changed in accordance to the estimated processing burden of each video frame.
